A Holiday Tradition returns!

It is wonderful to announce that Monticello IA Main Street has been able to bring back the community Christmas tree after a decade-plus-long absence. A community tree is a cherished symbol of the holiday season and plays a significant role in placemaking in our downtown. It serves as a gathering place for residents and visitors alike, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Monticello IA Main Street is dedicated to revitalizing and preserving the historic downtown area. The efforts to bring back the community Christmas tree are a testament to our commitment to creating a vibrant and welcoming place for all.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the generous donors who made this possible: Commander Building, Chappell Machine, Kirkwood's Advanced Manufacturing & Welding Academy, BARD Materials, McAllister Electrical Services, Alliant Energy, Koob Towing, Becky Cooper and Family, Legacy Lanes and the City of Monticello.
